Beth Lynch
Beth Lynch grew up in Gulfport, Mississippi and started dancing at the age of 7. She danced with the Mississippi Coast Ballet and studied summers at American Dance Festival with David Howard, Benjamin Harkavy, Patricia Neary, and Hector Zaraspe. Ms. Lynch attended Texas Christian University and University of Alabama in Birmingham where she earned a BA in Dance. During summers she studied with the Houston Ballet and New Orleans Ballet.
At 25, she moved to the Bay Area in California and danced and taught at Western Ballet in Mt. View, CA. Her performing experience includes solo in Sleeping Beauty, The Nutcracker, Giselle peasant pas de deux, and corps de ballet in Serenade and La Sonnambula. Beth and her family relocated to North Carolina in 1996, where she taught in area schools before coming to The Ballet School. Beth loves teaching at The Ballet School and hopes to inspire a life-long love for dance and fitness in her students.
