Registration Information

  • Tuition and Fees:Please note that tuition and fees are due at the time of registration. For assistance with registration or multi-class fee calculations, please call the studio at 919/942-1339, send us an email (balletschoolch@gmail.com), or send us a message through the Parent Portal.
  • Class Discounts Applied at Check-out: If registering online, discounts will be applied at check-out if you are enrolling your child in more than 1 class per week.
  • Payment: The Ballet School accepts Visa, MasterCard, Discover and checks. Payments made by credit card through the Parent Portal will generate an automatic receipt that will be sent to your primary email address. Credit card payments are also accepted over the phone (919/942-1339). Our mailing address is Ballet School of Chapel Hill, 1603 E. Franklin St., Chapel Hill, NC 27514.
  • Annual Registration Fee: Annual registration fees will be automatically billed to your account when registration is received. Fees are $40 for each adult student or first child and $25 for each additional child/family member.
  • Recital Fees: Recital fees are listed on the fall class schedule and will be billed upon receipt of registration.
  • Classes That Meet More Than Once Per Week (Children’s Division): Be careful in selecting the right combination of classes. Examples include Ballet 2 (Mon/Weds OR Tues/Thurs); Ballet 4 Mon/Weds AND Fri; Ballet 5 Tues/Thurs. AND Fri; Ballet 6 Mon/Weds AND Fri). The same applies to the upper levels in the Contemporary Jazz program.
  • Boys Ballet Program, Ballet Focus, or Students Taking 5 or More Classes/Week: You will need to fill-out a paper Student Contract, available in this drop-down menu. Please mail it, email it, or deliver it to the studio. Our online software is not set-up for these specialized discount programs.
  • Adult Students: A minimum of 6 classes per session (six 1-hr classes is $124.50 and six 1.5 hr. classes is $171.) is required. After registering online, please contact the business office and let us know how many classes you wish to take over the 9-week session. We will then charge your account and process payment providing we have a credit card on file. You may also pay by check by mail or drop off your check in our secure payment box in the lobby. At the end of the 9-weeks, we will bill you for any additional classes taken. Please see the studio calendar on the attached class schedule for adult session dates for Aug. – May. Please contact the business office if enrolling in Adult Modern.
