Tyler Walters
Tyler Walters was a leading dancer with the Joffrey Ballet for more than a decade and was featured in performances across the United States and around the world. He has been a principal guest artist with many companies including the Pennsylvania Ballet and National Ballet of Iceland and was a principal dancer with Atlanta Ballet during the 1993-94 season. As a choreographer, Mr. Walters has created works for Carolina Ballet, Oregon Ballet Theater, American Ballet Theater Studio Company, and the Joffrey Concert Dancers. In 1999, he received the Choo-San Goh Award for choreography. Currently on faculty at Duke University and resident guest teacher for Carolina Ballet, Mr. Walters has also been a guest teacher at various programs including the Joffrey Ballet School, The Julliard School, the Princeton Ballet School.
